Re-inventing SBA and its Mission

Obama has a great opportunity to really help small businesses by announcing – as part of the next economic stimulus package – a re-invention of the SBA and its mission.

Bureaocrats could begin to work in partnership with entrepeneurs with answers on how the government, for example, can meet its statutory mandate to contract with small businesses. ‘The Umbrella Initiative,’ a private partnership initiative is one such effort.

This initiative would link all the government procurement efforts to achieve measurable results and would reduce their current dependency on taxpayer support.

I urge you to demand for its benefits to be examined!
