In a move that showcases desperation after his miserable debate performance Monday night, serial adulterer Donald Trump Thursday trotted out former President Bill Clinton’s sexual history against opponent Hillary.
Typical hypocrisy from Trump, who lies more than any candidate in recent history and then calls all of his opponents liars.
Throughout his boast-laden, blusterous career, Trump has bragged about his sexual exploits, dumped his first two wives after bedding multiple mistresses and even claimed his sexual equipment was “much larger than most men’s.”
Trump, posing as “spokesman,” proclaimed he was a “great lover” who enjoyed the sexual company of high profile models, actresses and others. He even admitted erotic thoughts about his daughter.
Now, he wants to claim Hillary Clinton is unfit to be President because her husband played around? Only Trump could see that as a legitimate campaign issue, which it is not.
If he thinks the exploits of Clinton and then White House intern Monica Lewinsky can win the White House for him, he’s off somewhere in la-la land, where he is most of the time.
Appearing on the Howard Stern radio show, Trump responded to a question from former New York Daily gossip columnist A.J. Benza about his self-proclaimed sexual prowess.
“Well I’ve been successful with your girlfriend, I can tell you that,” Trump responded. “Hey A.J., look, it bothered you a lot and it should bother you a lot.”
Benza responded in kind:
“This guy doesn’t shake hands but he bangs Russian people,” he said in reference to Trump’s well-documented germophobia. “He used to call me when I was a columnist and say ‘I was just in Russia, the girls have no morals, you gotta get out there.’”
“A.J., any girl you have I can take from you if I want. Any girl you have I can take from you. You’re full of shit.”
Trump admitted in an interview with The Washington Post that he considered approaching his first wife, Ivana, with a proposal that they have “an open marriage” because he was having sex with other women.
“I was out four or five nights a week, usually with a different woman each time, and I was enjoying myself immensely,” he said.
He dumped Ivana and married Marla Maples. The marriage lasted six years before he divorced her. He bragged sleeping around with other woman while married to Maples.
“When a man leaves a woman, especially when it was perceived that he has left for a piece of ass—a good one!—there are 50 percent of the population who will love the woman who was left,” Trump told Vanity Fair of the public reaction to his activities with women.
Around the same time, the Chicago Tribune reported that Trump had both his wife Ivana and Maples with him at a vacation in Aspen:
“Donald Trump had his wife and his special friend in the same town, at the same party, at the same time. Nobody left,” the Tribune said. “Trump, his wife and his special friend just kind of circulated.”
Those who claim to be close to Trump say the fear of AIDs slowed down some of his philandering but add that his “is not a one-woman man.”
So now Trump is going to drag Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky and, perhaps, some of his other exploits into the 2016 Presidential campaign. He should remember that his political buddy, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, gave up the leadership job and left Congress after he was caught screwing a House Agriculture Committee staff member while publicly demonizing Clinton for his sexual antics.
He should also remember the old cliche about people in glass houses throwing stones.
