Is Sarah Palin close to a decision on running for President?

Sarah Palin: Will she or won't she?

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is close to making an announcement on her Presidential ambitions and her political action committee is hyping the pending decision in its latest fundraising letter.

“It’s one of the most difficult and important decisions of her life,” says the Sept. 20 letter signed by Tim Crawford, treasurer of SarahPAC.  “And I want her to know that she has our support.”

The letter sounds traditional Palin campaign themes:  President Barack Obama is a socialist who is driving America “to European Socialism” and his actions on the economy have plunged the nation into a crisis worse than “the depths of the Great Depression.”

The letter encourages Palin supporters to encourage Palin to run by sending “a one-time gift to SarahPAC today.”

Palin has teased supporters and critics alike with a “will I or won’t I” game for months and time is running out for the one-time running mate to Sen. John McCain‘s unsuccessful bid  for the Presidency in 2008.

  1. Please. The woman isn’t running for any office. She may be stupid and self-absorbed, but she has to know she doesn’t have a chance. The country is tired of her shallow taunts and her adolescent name-calling.

She’s a professional victim; nothing is her fault. And while many people can identify with that attitude, it’s not enough. We have some serious problems to address and we need serious people to address them.

SP is about as far from serious as one can get. She’s a teenager stuck in an older woman’s body.
