WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. ambassador to China, Jon Huntsman, plans to resign soon, a White House official said on Monday, as he prepares for a potential campaign for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.

  1. Did a stint for Huntsman Packaging right before they became Pliant Corp. The Huntsman family has incredible power and influence in Utah. It wasn’t a bad job as we were updating their purchasing systems and integrating them with their suppliers. Nice people to work with too.
