Anybody here want to take a guess on just who is the favorite cover girl for most magazines.

No, not some half-clothed bimbo although the real choice might — in some people’s minds anyway — be called a half-brained one.

The Huffington Post did a little count — without looking that hard — and come up with 17 covers featuring Sarah Palin.

That’s right. Sister Sarah is also cover girl Sarah…and she kept her clothes on…well, most of them anyway.

A slide show of the full list is here.

Doug Thompson published his first story and photo at age 11 -- a newspaper article about racism and the Klan in Prince Edward County, VA, in 1958. From that point on, he decided to become a newspaperman and did just that -- reporting news and taking photos full-time at his hometown paper, becoming the youngest full-time reporter at The Roanoke Times in Virginia in 1965 and spent most of the past 55+ years covering news around the country and the globe. After a short sabbatical as a political operative in Washington in the 1980s, he returned to the news profession in 1992. Today, he is a contract reporter/photojournalist for BHMedia and owns Capitol Hill Blue and other news websites.

  1. This is far closer to beneath CHB ,
    than I care to see.
    All aboard at sensation station.
The Chuggers broke a fourth seal,
steaming plutocracy all over the place.
    Poor little train, called Asange.

  2. I’m so depressed and fed up with our politicians and the endless games they play, then nothing would suprise me as to who runs for office of our emergent “Idiocracy” in the next general election.

I can see Newt Gingrich/Sara Palin vs. Barack Obama/Hillary Clinton with ol’ Uncle Joe stepping down as V.P. How do you like that for the makings for a nightmare scenario. Duplicitous boneheads square off with a win for either meaning we’ll be ever closer to national oblivion if we haven’t crossed the threshold prior to November 2012. / : |
