Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of these types of roadside shops dot the landscape in rural areas throughout America, although many claim their merchandise is more than "junk." This one was once a Texaco station on the road that was a main route between Hillsville and Danville, Virginia, but Interstates have long since supplanted such roads.
