Obama is not my first choice but he’s better than the other choices!

Senator Obama is not my first choice but he’s better than the other choices!

Bill Clinton is not my first choice but he was a better choice than the other choices!

I can go on and on.

I have yet to see an election that had my first choices from either party get the nomination.

So what! So it means that I have to vote for the lesser of 2 evils.

That’s right. That’s REALITY. I can do that or I can not vote.

Since I believe it is the most important civil duty we can do, I vote. I may not be voting for my first choice but I will vote for the one who has the best chance of getting elected and doing the least damage to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

In 2008, that’s CLEARLY NOT JOHN MCCAIN! So yes I will support Senator Obama in this historical election. I will do everything I can to prevent John McCain from taking over and continuing Bush’s personal vendetta in Iraq.

For those of you who have lost any faith in the system, I wish you well with your endeavors.

However, until there is a better game in time with a better leader than I have currently seen, then it is what it is. Live with it, participate in it, or leave it!

Isn’t that what the conservatives used to say to the draft dodgers? Perhaps it is time for the Liberal Left to say to the cynics and the Bushies they enable.

I have left this country and lived elsewhere and seen what the choices are. They are not pretty by any means. So I will stay in my homeland and do everything I can even to death and or imprisonment to ensure that people like GW Bush NEVER EVER TAKE CONTROL OF OUR COUNTRY AGAIN!

There are no longer areas of gray. You either support the failed policies of Bush or you don’t. If you don’t, you can vote, participate or leave. You are free to make that choice. So am I.

It’s ok to like vanilla. It’s ok not to like chocolate. But it is not ok, to prevent someone else from liking chocolate just because you don’t like it.

So call me crazy, call me a fool. Who cares! They called me that in 1999 and 2000 when I told them EXACTLY what would happen under Bush. Who the hell are a bunch of faceless opinions anyways.

The only thing that matters is in the end what the vote count is….legitimate or not.

Participate and we just might make it. Expect the worse, you will certainly get the worse.

And that’s my Rant for the week.
