I’m sure that Senator Cruz is very proud of the fact that his family lawfully immigrated to the USA.

What he may not mention is that any Cuban who makes it to the USA is automatically considered a legal immigrant, a classification that I don’t think is true for any immigrant from any other nation in the world.

From every other country, if they catch you in the USA without having jumped through all the extensive legal hoops, they send you back. Being Cuban, however, the ‘legality’ of the immigration is just never questioned.

My guess is soon he’ll be saying stuff like when did you join 350.org Mr. Jones and how many environmentalists are in the State Dept. etc.

Since the Budget is the responsibility of the House, the Senate and the President just request amendments and provide yes or no votes or a signature, the budget is a non starter here.

This Senator Cruz is acting and sounding an awful lot like another bombastic, bombshell throwing Republican politician that I know of. Does Senator Joseph McCarthy from Wisconsin ring a bell?

A hangin’ offense! It’s too bad that consistently not passing a budget isn’t trampling Congressional etiquette too.
