THE FACTS REVISITED:

OBAMA: “After years of grueling recession, our businesses have created over 6 million new jobs.”
If we include the people the government claims have given up looking for work which they simply stop counting, the real unemployment number is closer to 22%.

OBAMA: “Already the Affordable Care Act is helping to reduce the growth of health care costs.”
The IRS is estimating the lowest cost "bronze" plan for families will cost $20,000 per year in 2016, an increase of about 25% more than what they pay today. There are NO COST REDUCTION PROVISIONS in the Affordable Healthcare Act.

OBAMA: “Real reform means establishing a responsible pathway to earned citizenship — a path that includes passing a background check, paying taxes and a meaningful penalty, learning English and going to the back of the line behind the folks trying to come here legally.”
Simply enforcing federal law on the books concerning illegal immigration would resolve the issue. However, each major party is seeking to win the Hispanic/Latin vote, and curry favor with businesses seeking cheap labor, and is willing to violate and ignore our laws to achieve these goals. Just look at how illegal immigrants are now referred to as undocumented workers. Who would want to arrest and deport undocumented workers?

OBAMA: “I urge this Congress to pursue a bipartisan, market-based solution to climate change, like the one John McCain and Joe Lieberman worked on together a few years ago. But if Congress won’t act soon to protect future generations, I will. I will direct my Cabinet to come up with executive actions we can take, now and in the future, to reduce pollution, prepare our communities for the consequences of climate change and speed the transition to more sustainable sources of energy.”
Trading energy credits does nothing to stop global warming and places a major burden on manufacturing. It is estimated for each green job created, it costs 100 traditional manufacturing jobs. This is about creating a new trading market and raising revenue for global governance and not about saving the planet. It is questionable if global warming even exists, or if humans have any discernible effect on the planet's temperature. It was hotter when the dinosaurs roamed the Earth and the planet's flora and fauna flourished. These same people claimed in the 1970's that we were about to enter a new ice age.

FLORIDA SEN. MARCO RUBIO, in the Republican response: “The real cause of our debt is that our government has been spending $1 trillion more than it takes in every year. That’s why we need a balanced-budget amendment.”
The real cause of our debt is many things. The Federal Reserve "prints" and then loans us our own money at interest. We've been at war in Afghanistan longer than we were in WWII or Vietnam. We've allowed our industry to be moved offshore putting our own citizens out of work, while at the same time allowing millions of immigrants to enter the country and work without any consequences. Lastly, we've inflated our currency levels so high that our money is worth many times less than in years past. So we can't buy as many goods unless we pay more dollars. All this contributes to our fiscal situation, even our own personal debt levels. We've replaced our once great wealth with debt. It is not sustainable.
