Of course another story I read that occured in the Houston area told the account of a woman who was confronted by three armed Hispanics in her home as she put her six-year old child to bed.

She managed to convince the assailants, who were armed and preparing a roll of duct tape (presumably to assist in some home repairs), that she had money stashed under her mattress. This distracted the upstanding, citizens-in-waiting long enough for her to grab her gun and shoot one of them before they fled.

I wonder why this story isn’t all over the media? I know, it was just a single six-year old and mother, and the thugs were Hispanic. Don’t want to throw the liberals off-point on not only gun control but the oft-repeated mantra of poor Jose’ and Maria merely seeking a better life for themselves and their loved ones.
