I don’t know if it would’ve helped over the years to have women rise to the top in the Catholic hierachy….The Roman Catholic Church always annoints the men with all of the power and position, and probably will for another few hundred years….But, women have a civilizing effect upon men, and if any men needed it, this holy bunch most certainly did.
