>> Mormons are not known for any culture outside of their faith.<<

Ironically (or maybe not), most of the Mormons and ex-Mormons I know are voting for Obama. One I talked to today, a Mormon turned Catholic, succinctly described him as a "dirtbag".

On the other hand, come to think of it, most of these folks were also women, which may be more of a factor.

I am very concerned about whether a reelected Obama can work with a Republican House. Electing Gov. Romney would not be an alternate plan as his agenda is very far from Obama's and just about everyone I know would have to face a cut back in all the federal assist that has helped so many over the years.

Even in the individual states, many musical, visual arts classes will be cut and the incentive for kids to stay in school would be minimized.I'm not talking about big bird and some of the cartoons that are on T.V. I'm talking about the bands and school plays that add to the joy of school for many students. There is something very stimulating about understanding Shakespeare and Chekhov that can stay with a student forever.

I seriously doubt that Romney ever had a background in the arts. He often seems like an educated hillbilly. Mormons are not known for any culture outside of their faith. In the last 10 years, we see more football players than musicians or poets coming out of the church.
