Since the truth got so nasty that anyone who speaks it can't get elected.

Everyone's, even Ron Paul's, comments about 'What I would do if I were President' are a useless mix of fantasy and fiction.

The nature of campaigning on TV has made anything over the level of Erich Carle or Theodore Geisel incomprehensible to enough of the electorate that nothing else matters.

The skills involved in getting elected bear no resemblance whatsoever to the skills involved in governing.

This is how empires fall. May you live in interesting times.

Since when has the truth ever been so hard, so elusive, or that tricky ?
We probably have a law and a few golf course handshakes about that. hack..
Please recycle crammed, canned rhetoric at your own risk.
Debate my eye.

Is it long past the time to question ?
