Comments on: Obama, Romney hit the books to cram for last debate

When I read this above: “….especially that small but sought-after group of voters who haven’t yet made up their minds.”….When I read that, I couldn’t stop thinking about the “Undecided Voters” filmed segment I saw on the last “Saturday Night Live” (NBC)….It was hilarious!….In the piece, various “undecideds” ask “When is the election?”…”Who are the two men running?…and be specific”….”Is a President elected for: 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, or life?”…”If elected for life, I don’t think I want to vote for a dictator.”..and on and on.

I now can’t keep from smiling when I hear the two words: “undecided voter”.

Since the truth got so nasty that anyone who speaks it can’t get elected.

Everyone’s, even Ron Paul’s, comments about ‘What I would do if I were President’ are a useless mix of fantasy and fiction.

The nature of campaigning on TV has made anything over the level of Erich Carle or Theodore Geisel incomprehensible to enough of the electorate that nothing else matters.

The skills involved in getting elected bear no resemblance whatsoever to the skills involved in governing.

This is how empires fall. May you live in interesting times.

Since when has the truth ever been so hard, so elusive, or that tricky ?
We probably have a law and a few golf course handshakes about that. hack..
