So if Agenda 21 is a local initiative gone international, why has no one at the local level heard of it?

One might think that local activists would be proud of their accomplishments hitting the international stage and tout that achievement.

But hey, you don't have to take anyone's word for it. Read it yourself here: http://www.un.org/esa/dsd/agenda21/

The United Nations has been unpopular by many Americans. I had serious doubts about the organization from the very beginning. What sold me on this group was the courage they had when handling the mess between Palestinians and the Jews. I had never been a member of any minority until I realized how so many Americans felt about women. Even other women didn't want the same rights as the men had assumed. As I grew older I soon realized that the world was for White Straight Christian men only. I was not going to allow this to have any effect on my two daughters.

It would seem that it isn't only the Tea Party types who see problems. The website, Democrats Against UN Agenda 21, is a prime example. Their goal is to peel back the soft fuzzy outer skin and get to the meat of the matter. But, then again...
who would hide their true intentions and need exposing?

>he discovered that the requirement to have a lockbox at the back door of his family’s restaurant containing keys for emergency service access to his property was “based on international fire regulations.”

I rather doubt the "international fire regulations" came first. The use of key lockboxes for emergency access more likely percolated up from local, to state, to national, and then finally were adapted in international standards written by representatives from multiple countries.

Just because something is required in multiple countries doesn't make it anti-American. Some ideas just make sense where ever you are.

Some body brought up this conspiracy in 1992 during the Perot for President meeting in Santa Barbara CA. It gave us a all a good laugh. We were fighting the One World Order to introduce open treaties to make all nations equal (or something like that). Most of Perot's supporters had been very much aware of the Neo cons who ran the Bush 41 election to keep America at war in the Middle East. That movement pushed the theory that wars make good-paying jobs. That is all they wanted, i.e., money in their pockets. NAFTA should have brought Perot many votes but the voters wanted money not peace. I attended a political meeting supposedly organized by the Gun lobbies and I believed I would meet some interesting people at this meeting. The group became an Evangelical Revival meeting where war was declared based on the results of removing the rights of non-Christians.

Only through a Christian nation could America lead the world into Paradise. I'm not kidding! Somehow they got Israel involved and nobody mentioned there were two Testaments involved. I kept hearing that it is all the same group. I asked several who were in charge where did they plan to get representatives based on the fact that our government is either Republican or Democratic and they said they had their ways and that many Republicans were Evangelicals.

Perot knew nothing about this silly new group. As the election grew it turned out that Perot got 15% of the votes and who knows how many Evangelical voters had bothered to vote.

The older America gets, the dumber the voters seem to get. I know it is confusing when the GOP was the party of inclusion of all Americans and now the Democrats are running on a very well planned liberal party. The GOP changed into a party of the religious right and split itself in half. It has taken on the Nazi white supremacy party and nobody seems to have noticed the change.

This plan came to America with the Pilgrims who wanted a white nation of Christians. It was this plan that drew the Mormons to America. They made up this silly action to draw attention to a formal religion using an angel named Moroni to set the laws and bring in more members. Years later the fact that the chosen founder, Joseph Smith, was inflicted with seizures called Epilepsy that brought the rumor that God set this up. Mormons got a late start in America so they compensated by allowing men to have as many wives as they could breed for children. Genetically nobody kept score on who was whose cousin or even closer related than that so some Mormons are just down-right funny in the head. Mitt Romney and I have the same great grandfather and his father dated my mother at BYU until they began to compare their family tree. When a group of people start getting into their ancestry and they all have the same stem, it is time to go elsewhere for a mate.

It's times like this when the separation of church and state becomes essential that we all should be more careful with our breeding information.

I was thrilled to learn that both my daughters found wonderful Jewish men.
