I have never believed that the federal government should be responsible for the social issues of the citizens. I set the laws of right over wrong and clean and clear brains over the use of any drugs. We had no television but the kids had a credit account at our local bookstore. I committed 18 years for each child of the best and healthy food, exercise year around and as many pets as they could handle. I didn’t wait for the schools to bring in Shakespeare, poetry, theater or classical music as these were mine to teach. Our home schooling took in geography and biography books and maps that worked on the diversity of all Americans. My girls were 6 years apart which made our home easily handling most subjects.

I worked full time and made costumes during the weekends. I won’t know if I failed or succeeded until my kids become parents. They have both chosen not to have children, but I most certainly respect their choices, even though it screws up my intentions!

It takes money to run the government and it takes even more money to fight wars. I hope my kids will vote accordingly and take America in a positive way. I have no idea how they will vote and I gave up asking years ago.
