In my opinion, Gov. Romney came off as a sleazy car salesman. Pushy, arrogant and easily skipping over the truth of his agreed-upon platform. Someone should explain to this fellow that he cannot have it both ways. He agreed to be a Republican and it means that he sticks with the horrible platform that supports him. If he does not follow Ryan's plans, he should step out of the race. The GOP must stop the assault on minorities which includes a war on women. The hope for a decent Republican platform may be back in the making now that Perot and Walker are back in the process.

He carefully chose Paul Ryan who represents the terrible platform accepted by the GOP. Now that he feels a sense of victory he cannot throw Ryan under the bus. This situation describes the new Republican Party who has accepted the religious right bringing Christians full bore into the government. Our nation is not a Christian nation but a nation of all kinds of Americans. Evangelicals' plan for a Christian nation is against the law and the first Amendment.

There might have been an action to run a Christian political party but even had they won, it is against the law found in the first Amendment. It is sad that Christians cannot be a part of American values and want to be all Americans. What this will accomplish is to start another civil war.

It is becoming harder to keep the Christians out of wars even when it means 4000 deaths found in our American servicemen and women.
