Jim, Ross Perot did not hammer his subjects into the minds of Americans. He quietly introduced his fix of our economy and made a few Republicans pissed off. Perot has been around but has kept a low profile. He is a family man and his children have been the focus of his life for many years. His biography is just going to print and I still refer to his first book when he organized "United We Stand:" and many of us still review many of his ideas to fix America. There was none of the phony bull itshay that filled so much of the GOP membership and brought many of us into his party. I left the GOP and will never return until the party starts respecting all Americans.

I do not believe America is or should be a supremacy of white straight Christian men. In the last 30 plus years, the women are carrying the burden of the family. Taking America back to the 50's is not what we want. All Americans are equal and the GOP has lost the message.

Obama would not have been my choice except the alternative would be a disaster. I have 2 daughters and one newly wed grand daughter so the GOP left me.

I'm sorry you lost what Perot offered us. His fiscal policies are exactly what America needs today, if we're not too late. To quote Shakespeare,"The Past is Prologue"

I was able to pick up the interview with Richard Wolf where both Perot and David Walker explained the mess that America has slipped into fiscally.

The Republican and Democratic Party have been running a race to capture the votes of Americans by promising more perks from each party that has put America on the verge of bankruptcy.

This was the same message that Perot gave in 1992 when he ran for President trying to stop programs like NAFTA that put America on the down side of many treaties. At that time he captured as large group from both parties to stop the spending and think about the passage of so many spending plans that were unfair to American growth.

David Walker was part of this interview and as the CEO of "Comeback America Initiative" that is based on gathering American behind a fiscally responsible action group.

I was inspired to do some research on this organization and try again to locate a fiscally responsible political action group. There must be a half-way plan to help Americans develop better academics in their schools to prepare them for individual strength to help themselves.

Back in the 90's Perot was pro-choice on many issues and I can only assume he would not appreciate what the Social Conservatives are trying to do to the GOP. There must be a better way to respect women in the Republican Party. I'm tired of the attitude that women are not qualified to enter the political actions of our nation. I look at Romney and I see the Pilgrims following the Witch Trials of Salem. Not a good image for the future of America.
