Uh, excuse us Mr. Romney, but how do you spell ‘America?’

Memo to Mitt Romney:  If you’re going to go high-tech, hire some folks who can spell.

Romney’s campaign released a new iPhone app that allows the user to take a photo with the phone and then overlay a pro-Romney message.  One of the various messages available is supposed to say: “A Better America.”

Only the graphic mangles “America” so that it comes out “Amercia.”

We’re waiting for some conspiracy theorist to claim the typo proves Romney is a part of a CIA plan to seize control of America…or is it Amercia?

The app was updated late Wednesday to fix the typo.  No word yet on whether or not the developer who created it still has a job.

So now we can change the cliche: “There’s an app for that” ….to….”There’s a bad app for that”.
