I’m sorely disappointed that the the NDAA has morphed from the monstrosity that it is to morphing from the “Udall amendment” to now that of Diane Feinstein’s amendment. Anything Feinstein is involved with is deadly to our freedom.

The “National Defense Authorization Act” has become an annual ritual of giving the MIC, Homeland Security et al. statist orgs a blank check to crunch their jackboots upon our necks in an unrestricted, unconstitutional fashion.

Enough is enough! This whole ritual is garbage legislation that is slowly but surely leeching the lifeblood of this nation upon the sands of time.

If anyone should reply to the supplied ACLU petition, then I say delete the entire preprogrammed text concerning the Udall amendment and write your own succinct sentiments concerning the order of the day.

Simply because I fessed up to being an ACLU member doesn’t make me want to march lockstep with their agendas or their extreme leftie supporters such as Feinstein.

This revelation has made me want to puke over the rail so to speak.

Notice none of these acclaimed ‘representative mattoids’ had the guts to state the core bill provisions are not only unconstitutional , but “anti” in nature with the sole purpose of quashing the concept of freedom for all time and places. Their attitude: Screw the concept of being innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Screw the concept of “Posse Commitatus” (military not be involved in civilian law enforcement within the confines of CONUS)etc. Screw “We the People” too is their elitist attitude…!

To me our Executive branch, Congress and SCOTUS have become enemies of all free people, not simply the U.S. for all time and places. Fie upon and to hell with them all…! : |

I firmly believe the mass dispensation of antidepressants over the past 30 years or so have had an impact on dociling Americans. Allegedly 80 million of our fellow citizens are on such meds.

I’ve had doctors try to prescribe such to me. I always tell them I enjoy the feeling and don’t want to lose touch with my “fight or flight instincts”.
They also effect your libido and that’s the last thing I would want to snuff out for the sake of not coping with occasional depression which is linked to one’s perception of the world around them.

Also there’s links to water fluoridation as aiding the dociling process. I know many will dispute such, but if you read the ingredients of the major antidepressant and antianxiety meds you’ll find fluorine in various compounds as a key ingredient. So what’s with fluoride if it doesn’t have an effect on brain chemistry?

Barney Frank is either a liar or totally clueless. Didn’t know about pot being grown, a prostitution ring operating out of his house the real condition of Freddie and Fannie and to top it all off getting a “boy friend” a job at an agency that Barney’s committee is regulating. Outspoken? How about an insulting gas bag. Enough on YouTube to show the real Barney. The liberal left loves this very flawed cartoon character which tells you all you need to know about moonbat central.

As far as Studds he had no choice. He was going to be “outed” and from what I gather pleaded about his indiscretions going public. I worked in the first Studds campaign and we were all well aware of his sexual orientation but what many were not aware of was his attraction to young males.

When the Studds issues was hitting on all cylinders another Congressman by the name of Crane (R- Ohio) was in the same precarious boat thanks to his attraction to under age or barely of age female pages. On a flight to Cleveland I got into a conversation with a seat companion from Ohio. I remember his comments clearly. “The differences between Massachusetts and Ohio is our guy is as good as dead and Studds will get elected again and again. That’s why your state is such a joke.”

I disagreed totally with him and he was 100% correct. I dropped out of being enrolled as a Democrat when they backed Studds and Frank. I have been unrolled since.

As Howie Carr said in The Herald today “Xmas has come early.”

Gerry Studds did not reveal his homosexuality until he was outed in the congressional pad scandal in 1983 for having sexual relations with a 17 year old page. That is when he admitted his sexual orientation publicly.

According to Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerry_Studds ) this was “a disclosure that, according to a Washington Post article, ‘apparently was not news to many of his constituents.’ ”

Barney Frank was, indeed, the first member of Congress to admit his homosexuality voluntarily. This was back in 1987 when the sentiment in the country was far less accepting of homosexuality than it is today.

The Senate is getting ready to vote on the “Defense Authorization Bill”. If people think the “Patriot Act” is a monstrous intrusion upon our Constitutional government and “Bill of Rights” then this bill is another example of statist creep with evermore draconian measures instituted over “We the People”.

“The U.S. Senate is considering the unthinkable: changing detention laws to imprison people — including Americans living in the United States itself — indefinitely and without charge. “…extract from synoposis concerning bill provisions.

In addition the bill will give this president as well as those into the future the absolute authority to pursue ‘terrorists’/enemies of the state, worldwide without Congressional authority, thus turning the U.S. Military into a defacto planetary police force.

I’m an ACLU member and proud of being such. Included is a link to their site concerning this issue. I urge CHB readers to do something proactive today and take a personal interest in your freedom and send a personalized email to your Senators. Contributions are nice, but I’d gladly say don’t let the solicitation for such after sending your message cause you concern. Send the message twice one to each to your Senators. I urge you to vote yes on the Udall Amendment to the bill which will at least temper it from being another quickie signoff like the Patriot Act, TARP et al. such gotta pass quickly bill/acts, no questions asked with little concern for future ugly consequences.
