Gadhafi killed by Libyan rebels

Moammar Gadhafi

Pentagon sources told Capitol Hill Blue Thursday morning that embattled Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi is dead, reportedly killed by rebel soldiers after they captured his home town of Sirte in Libya.

“The word we have is that he’s dead.  We can’t confirm it at this point but it’s looking good,” says a Pentagon source.

The unconfirmed report emerged this morning that the ruthless dictator was shot as he tried to flee from captors just outside Sirte and and died from his wounds.

Triumphant rebels distributed a gory cell photo that they said was the bloody body of the deposed Libyan leader.  The country’s prime minister also said Gadhafi was killed.

The big question is: Who’s going to fill the vacuum left by this guy; a crooked alCIAda sponsored regime that will force us to continue pitching U.S. tax-debtor bucks down another offshore zone of perma-conflict until the 13th of forever…? / : |

Will Condi Rice attend the funeral?

I guess I’m happy another dictator has fallen, but like Carl, I worry the al-Qaeda partnership they used as means to this end will only blow up in our faces, perhaps quite literally.

If our track record with arming these groups is any indicator, (AFGHANISTAN) this could have all been for naught. We have this bad habit of creating our own enemies particularly in the Middle East. Gadaffi was a CIA asset. Saddam Hussein was a CIA asset. Osama bin Ladin was a CIA asset. See any pattern here?

“We have this bad habit of creating our own enemies particularly in the Middle East.” …extract from post

It’s not a “bad habit”, but a good one Woody relative to our criminally disposed leadership’s modus operandi of creating endless zones of conflict to provide “profit centers” for the MIC, their political patrons.

Do you think RepubliCONs receive their talking points from Russia Today? I only ask because their propoganda tends parallel one another.
