Have to make sure to vote against Obamacare in Ohio this November. I see at least 75% against.

The easiest way to look at the arguement is that the Administration and Congress think their power to regulate commerce also gives them the power to demand purchase of products and services. So what is next if Obamacare stands?

Will we all be required to buy a GM vehicle every four years?

Will we all be required to purchase GE appliances every five years?

They can regulate commerce between states, they cannot demand commerce be made.

“Individuals who choose to go without health insurance are making an economic decision that affects all of us — when people without insurance obtain health care they cannot pay for, those with insurance and taxpayers are often left to pick up the tab,” said White House adviser Stephanie Cutter.
Why is everyone else penalized for their decision?

Couldn't their penalty be no medical service is given and they die?

The threat of death would make more carry the insurance without forcing the young and healthy into paying more for insurance they don't need.

If the so-called "individual mandate" issue makes it to SCOTUS, rest assured "the nine brethren", all "running dogs" for corporate/statist interests, will no doubt affirm that the government can force individuals to purchase insurance from private providers, who so too own our Congress and Executive lock, stock and barrel.
All three branches of our government have degenerated into a kumbaya cabal of corporate compromised elitists.

The irony is that this nation is flat dead broke along with massive unemployment far in excess of the touted 9.2% with it being closer to double that number when accounting for the long term unemployed. In light of this, how is our now criminally disposed government going to get medical care blood out of its citizen turnips?

The men and women who hatched "Obamacare" along with those that passed this bum legislation have sown the wind and so too will reap the mighty whirlwind of anarchy and rebellion in time.

It is a shame that time and tax dollars are wasted fighting insurance and pharmaceutical companies who have the White house/Congress in their pockets.

Why not take all our income and simply give us a monthly chit for expenses based on what they deem to be the amount of blue blood each of us possesses ?

Hell, Americans have already willingly bent over, might as well roll over and realize there won't be any scraps for the commoners after the formal coronation of the inbred elite..

I wonder if the Appeals Court will knock down the individual concern regarding abortions? How about gay marriages? Maybe death with dignity? We are very close to losing our choices in these matters.
