I’m sure this is going to make many Congressional ‘closet pederasts’ upset.

1983 was the the year that a major scandal between sitting Congressmen and underage page candidates was made public.

Almost thirty years have passed, but don’t think for a minute that this dark issue has been totally addressed.

It’s well that the program is coming to an end.

This no longer being the kinder and gentler America of times past, it’s best that families keep their youngsters from traveling to the heart of a now corrupt ‘Empire’ to be possibly abused.

It might just be that the Congressmen themselves are too embarrassed about their private lives to want anyone watching them. I wanted to be a page but my grandmother refused to consider my name be put on the list. She knew the dirty side of politics and it took me years to understand.
