We all fight the input of news that pours in on us daily. Much of this is crap from tabloid sources. The internet only adds insanity into the world of our candidates.

America is a nation based on laws. Before anyone tries to run as a leader in this nation of laws, one must know the laws themselves. The religious right cannot interpret any laws based on their bibles. They can live according to their own beliefs but they cannot legislate against any minority group of their choice.

Sadly the Republican National Committee has been redesigned not to win for the GOP but to destroy any other candidate who does not make it through the litmus test. I’ve seen many Republicans openly run on racist comments and it hurts me as a long-time Republican. I’ve been active in women’s and gay’s rights and cannot accept the Republicans turning against these people. I guess I am shocked that Christians would become an army of hatred against so many American Citizens.

The fight among both of these female candidates will turn into a vicious cat fight that will suck the air out of every minute of the election. It does not appear that the GOP actually can locate a winnable candidate even during the primaries. The GOP wandered off the road years ago and the panic of a loss allowed Karl Rove to buy into the churches for their membership lists. It took them 8 years of Clinton before the Christians had their legislative base ready for their first born-again President.

The rest is history and America has been hated and despised by many other nations and sadly by many Americans.

We are facing another major election in 2012 and is there anyone in the election that we can vote FOR? I want a candidate who will stand tall for individual freedoms. At this time in the early campaigns, there is no Republican who can follow this agenda. The Democrats will change the tax laws and wealth will be distributed. At this time that is the least offensive threat. The Patriots act was extended and if Bachmann and/or Palin gets into the White House, The Patriots Act will be used to control abortions and sex change operations.

How much better would it be if we all could celebrate who and what we are and leave the government out of it. We have a celebrity wedding coming up in Palm Springs. Our House Representative’s step daughter is marrying her lover sometime this summer. Chastity Bono is now Chaz Bono and by changing the sex, will be allowed to marry the love of her/his life.
