Must admit, I don’t exactly see the problem with this:

Um, who is the commander in chief? Issue the order. They’re not paid to like it. Done.

Now, I think he should have done that with the whole ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’ fiasco long before Congress got involved, along the lines of how Truman integrated the army – He ordered it done, and any officer who had a problem with that could have their resignations on his desk in the morning.

I don’t see that from Obama, however. Pity.

In a business, a marriage or in personal relationships you try to built a cornerstone of trust. In our foreign policy we are going to trust the Saudi’s? Pakistani’s? Go right down the list. They should not trust us, either, but we do have all that money! Time to end the bribe money. Dump foreign aide.

$1.3 billion in annual aid to Pakistan, no help for women and children in the US. Is it nice to know you are considered to be less worthy of help from US tax payers than Pakistani’s?
