For thirty years, give or take, Republicans have been getting elected with all the chest pounding outrage they can manufacture. Once in office they behave like petulant adolescents. It astonishes me that there are still people who find this surprising.

“This is the first time a CNN polls has shown the tea party’s unfavorable ratings as high as those of the other two parties,” CNN Polling Director Keating Holland says.

Doesn’t this give them more legitimacy? They are now hated as much as Republicans and Democrats!

Amazing how when one party seems to get out ahead, they do something seemingly stupid which drives voters back to the other party. It’s feels more scripted than WWE.

I love watching photos/videos of all those over-50 `baggers, blissfully unaware that their leaders want to cut out their Social Security checks that they are or will soon be receiving. The hysteria of their screaming when they figure this out will be loud enough to heard across-the-land!

One is reminded of the Kurds after Gulf war 1. They were trusting souls right up to their demise.
When the Koch/corporate cash rug is lifted to reveal their self immolation and cannibalism,
the Baggers will find only the dried bones of brethren and lost liberties blank parchments,
whilst the dirty money missing from with-under.

The Republican’s current attack on unions is one of the major forces contributing to the Tea Party’s negatives: Plenty of union members and people with family histories that included union membership have been voting Republican for the past 30 years. But now they have a very good reason to switch parties: Attack one union, and all unions gather together for mutual defense. (And they don’t make much distiction between public employee unions versus the rest.)

And a few thousand highly-motivated union members is probably enough to sway an election in Wisconsin. There are certainly a lot more of them than there are Tea Party demonstrators!
