LAS VEGAS (Reuters) – When Harry Reid, the veteran Democratic senator from Nevada, brought up the idea last month of abolishing prostitution in the state, he did so almost as an aside — a few lines in an eight-page speech.

“Nevada needs to be known as the first place for innovation and investment — not as the last place where prostitution is still legal,” Reid said, adding his concern was prompted by a visit by a technology firm to rural Storey County.” …extract from news article

I’m thinking it’s appropriate to connect the dots concerning Senator Reid and his true alliances with the ‘business community’ and it’s not in Nevada. He refers to Nevada as a place for innovation and investment. Unfortunately Nevada has a water shortage problem with Lake Mead which is down to historic low levels within the past 75 years due to the drawdown of water assets from the Colorado River drainage system. Modern high tech industries rely on access to plentiful supplies of freshwater for production. So the water problems nixes smart hi-tech businesses from locating there.

The next issue is that the U.S. Government owns 84.5% of the land in Nevada not leaving much for ‘private development’.

Prostitution is only allowed within counties of less than 400,000 population of which there many. There’s only a few dozen licensed cat houses within the state leaving Las Vegas as their main attraction; ie., gambling and family related entertainment. Although not legal, there’s plenty of prostitutes available in the city from multi-thousand dollar trysts to street corner trouble.

During the buildup to Reid’s reelection I did some research on the guy. Seemingly he’s never met a U.S. tax dollar that he didn’t like spending and seemingly in these times handing it over to the PRC (China). In fact he’s been eagerly facilitating handing ‘stimulus money’ over to them along with his Democratic brethren of the same stripe.

One stunning factoid concerning the so-called ‘stimulus money’ is that teaching Chinese prostitutes to drink responsibly on the job is a good place for the U.S. tax dollars…?!

Next, I’m thinking taxpayers will enjoy both seeing and understanding Harry’s true concerns for Nevada’s image…NOT! Seemingly he feels that ‘stimulus money’ is best utilized on behalf Chinese business interests over U.S. suppliers of the same type of technology. I’m supplying a link so folks can see first hand this ‘smiling cat’ along with his Chinese business patrons.

Why the people of Nevada and elsewhere in this nation continually fall for election cycle b.s. is beyond me? I realize Sharon Angle, although causing some concern on his part didn’t represent a genuine threat to his sorry-butt incumbency. Is this the best Nevadan’s can do for opposing candidates? Well now they’re stuck with Harry for another six years while he and his ‘Globalists ‘r Us’ henchmen continue to sell out the U.S. all for a few dollars, yuan, euro’s or shekels more. / : |
