It's we the people's fault.
Right now, the people are sitting at home watching ESPN. No matter what time of day or night ti is there is a diversionary sporting event on to take the mind of the idiot masses and consume them with other thought.
That or, some talking head who will blame bipartisanship (another false dichotomy) and get the ignorant bickering amongst themselves like a .....wait for it ......sporting event.

Intellectually lazy, cowards.
The people truly get the government they deserve.

Unfortunately their 61 billion gesture has the equivalent impact as that of a mouse fart in a hurricane. They're going to spend 1,239 billion more than is taken in by tax revenues...!?

When I hear they've pruned 1,000 billion off the budget leaving only 300-500 billion overruns with the the plan to run a balanced budget in the near future then I'll be impressed. Also they need to relentlessly keep pruning economic crippling government regulations away from businesses and "We the People".

It's a start, but to turn the USS America about from an imminent encounter with the reefs of destruction is going to take some serious budget work.

They also need to get serious about pulling the plug on the Federal Reserve and kicking the "Counterfeiter in Chief" Ben Bernanke to the curb. The U.S. needs to get back into minting it's own coinage of value and currency backed by such, interest free to the U.S. taxpayers, while telling the obscenely rich Central bankers worldwide to take a hike and to find an honest way to make a buck, euro or shekel. No payback; ie, default and stick'em bigtime as they so richly deserve.

These cuts display not one hint of what direction they will take America. Conservatives have no plan other than to die with all the toys like scurrilous schoolyard bullies.
The wars drag on with no end in sight, while Wall street will be left to pillage unabated and the corporate polluters will have free reign to poison and rape what is left of our environment..

This whole charade is rooted in the premise that it is we the people who have failed America. The theme now is that less is more where we are concerned, so tighten your belts and don't wait at the back door of the kitchen, no scraps will be forthcoming.

The politicians and their masters are now free to display their contempt for the calloused hands that built this nation while wearing their disdain as if it were a badge of honor. We are told we need to be punished for our extravagant behavior and how much it hurts them to do it, but never the less we are to be driven by the lash if need be back to the days of the robber Barons.
Lastly they will cue up the Klan because as their stated mission goes the number one objective is to ruin this President before he gets started and take back their Lily White House.

Will it be Mitch or Orange man who gets to light the cross on the White house lawn ?
