So if the budget is $750 billion per year, and they save $100 billion over 5 years but increase by 1% each year, then the net result is still adding more to the deficit and this is heralded as thrifty?

And of course this doesn’t include the more than $1 trillion dollars per year in emergency funding for the war in the Middle East that they want to expand into Iran and Pakistan.

Where is this money supposed to come from?
