Political authorism

It used to be that to run for office you had to kiss a lot of babies.

Now you need to write a book.

At least it seems that way among the Presidential wannabes.

Campaigning by the BookAuthor! Author! Seems just about everyone running for president these days has just had, or is about to have, a book out. This must be serendipity, but the themes — faith, courage, leadership, character, compassion — seem oddly campaign-appropriate. [Washington Post Political News]

To me it seams to be that you have to kiss something other than babies.

Seems to me that some ghost writers are making a nice living due to this new campaign strategy.

The big problem is, how many trees have to be sacrificed for paper to print these tomes of abject boredom leading to overruns and sale prices of these same books at the dollar stores?
