Alberto, pack your bags

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales may be headed out the door.

Vice President Dick Cheney Monday expressed support for the embattled AG and said he is doing a good job.

The last time Cheney said something like that about a Bush appointee was his praise for Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.

Four days after he said it, Bush fired Rumsfeld.

Bye-bye Gonzo?

Cheney Disputes Libby Verdict, Voices Support for GonzalesVice President Cheney said yesterday that he disagreed with the jury’s verdict in the trial of his former chief of staff, who was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice in the investigation into the Bush administration’s leak of the identity of an undercover CIA officer.

From cheney’s mouth to Gods ear’s, to george, talking to God once again.
It would be wonderful if it played out that way but, I have my doubts it will happen. Alberto Gonzales is really a very stupid man. He is staying on a job that many feel he should step down. He is totally ineffective as the Attorney General. He has no creditability, he is just taking up space. george will not fire him to give into the Democrats and the few Republicans that have abandoned both Gonzales and george.
Is this any way to run a country?

Most of us figured Gonzo out right from the very beginning. He’s proven time and time again that he’s a Bush suckup, maybe the only one Georgie will have left.

I always chuckle a little to myself that it took America this long to figure out what made President Simpleton’s simpleton tick.

Gonzales’ vapidity and “not quite brightness” was one of the more obvious faults of this “simpletonic” administration. Gonzo could always be called upon to comment with oozing and gushing admiration for his enabler that borders on the downright insane, or maybe even a bit of inappropriateness.
