Then very first in line...clean up the laws that allows Banks, Wall St, and Insurance companies from stealing America and hell, most of the world blind via gambling using every day people's savings, pension funds, etc for hedge activities, derivatives and Credit Swaps, and banks that allowed to create mortgage backed securities.

Repeal the Gramm, Leach, Bliley Act of 1999, return to the Glass-Steagall Act in it's entirety. Clean up the Commodies Futures Modernization Act of 2000, and tighten the loopholes on the Communities Reinvestment Revision Act of 1995 (very complex on how that plays into the crash of 2008, but it does).

Then hit the lobbyists and how they do business in Washington...not psuedo law as the last one enacted.

Go to public finance of campaigns...cut out the corporations.

Make the Stimulus packages list of recipients available to the public with full disclosure on pay outs and pay backs.

Forego any thought or efforts of enacting any future social programs...with the exception of dealing with the unemployment situation. Postpone the Health Care law completely until 2016.

Write a Constitutional Amendment that overturns the recent SCOTUS ruling that virtually made corporations have the same rights as a natural person rather than a legal person.

Well, that's a few things for starters. I can continue the list, but I'll stop here, see what others can contribute.

Other than no governance what-so-ever, I have to ask you once again just exactly what is it that you expect from your Prez??? I still say that most of you will never be happy because you simply expect the impossible.

Lets hear it, what is your game plan?

"...I hate absolute partisanship..."

But I display it every time I post a comment. Ha. Good one.

Obama's a disater. He's taken the worst of the Republican agenda, multiplied it tenfold, and then piled on the worst of the Democrat agenda. And he's not even warmed up yet.

If that's your idea of catering to both sides, and that's a good thing, it's no wonder we're in such "bad shape."

It may not matter to Obama about public opinion. It depends on who he really works for.

It's looking more and more likely that he is a red herring created by very powerful corporate and political machines . In other words, Obama is just the delivery boy.

These machines are becoming more and more clever by the second - while the public is becoming more and more (you fill in the blank) by the second.

I had faith, but I've lost a fair bit of it. I strongly believe he's actively trying to cater to both sides, which is good when I think about how much I hate absolute partisanship. But it seems to be bad at this point in time when I disagree strongly with the republican agenda and want him to be stronger.

I also strongly believe that most Americans simply want change for the better, but don't realize how bad a shape we are in nationally and globally, and how difficult it is to get past that. They are unable to comprehend what it will take to "fix" the problem, and don't want to make sacrifices to do it. Typical, "I want it now" Americanism.

Overall, I commend him on what he has done for our National image and what he has accomplished to mend broken fences. Sadly, I think that there is so much wrong that he will be more remembered for what he failed to accomplish instead of did accomplish.

At this point though, I would easily vote for him again against any republican or tea bagger that I can think of that might run.
