Substitute &quot;black&quot; for &quot;gay&quot; into any of the anti-gay marriage proponent&#039;s protests (not to mention the DOMA itself) and the sheer bigotry of the whole issue becomes blatantly clear.  Prohibiting homosexuals to legally marry is clearly unconstitutional on its face because marriage remains an institution of the state that was later co-opted by the church.... NOT the other way around.

And, just like a marriage between whites and blacks used to be legally banned, it&#039;s only a matter of time before this whole &quot;gay marriage&quot; issue becomes the norm in the population as woman&#039;s suffrage and civil rights. Even the military is now poised to admit self-professed homosexuals into its ranks, a step that is LONG overdue.

Thankfully, the homophobes still left among us are now dying in ever increasing numbers.]]></description>
