….and another one bites the dust. Does anyone have a tally sheet on how many Democrats and Republicans have chosen not to run? Seems like every day another one is listed. Think there is two already on the banner for CHB this week.

Bennett reminds me of the old Howie Carr line “He left due to illness – the voters got sick of him.”

It’s amazing how the ‘honeypot’ of holding high office in this land is addictive. He’ll shapeshift in the short run by dodging support on issues in order to pander support from his constituents, then change on a dime once he’s reelected.

These aging, career crimpols simply don’t have the grace to exit, especially from a guy that said he would only serve two terms and is now clawing at the woodwork to stay in D.C. at any price.

He needs to go immediately if not sooner… : |
