If Obama had not taken any action what-so-ever to try and slow down the inevitable financial collapse, have any of you seriously considered where we would be at this moment?

I find it amazing that so many on the right sat idly by while Bush destroyed our economy, yet are the first to jump up and down when Obama was forced to implement the disaster repair actions that bush fist constructed.

I don’t like the fact that Obama had to take such decisive action, but I realize that had he not, things would be far, far worse. I also realize that what is about to follow will again be a difficult pill to swallow, but major cuts in government spending, and tax increases are inevitable.

Again, where was all your concern for government spending and financial irresponsibility before the crash? Oh, I know, it’s easy to look the other way while reaping the benefits from it, but harder when it comes time to pay the piper.

We will all make major sacrafices in the near future in order to get out of this mess, it’s no where near done. Not only must we balance the books, but we must show a positive balance in order to pay off at least a little of our debt.

Our days as a “Superpower” are already gone and we don’t even know it. We can’t even afford to buy new military Aircraft which are the most vital ingredient of Global Power and reach. Even our military force is currently being cut.

We’ve waged a War on Drugs for 50 years and gotten absolutely nothing in return, maybe it’s time to implement a War on the American Debt instead.

Our U.S. grinds on as into the bowels of war a single fate is cast…….
nothing..but more bad policy, lessening of conviction and ultimate dereliction of duty as sworn agents who couldn’t pour diplomacy into a boot.
