Yup. Exactly. Just like Social Security. Pay into the fund. The feds take whatever accumulates and spends it on other stuff, and puts You-Owe-Me notes (Treasury Notes) in place.

It’s like you’re saving for your kid’s college. You put money aside for it temporarily, but every time you want a new flat screen TV or whatever you take the money out and replace it with a note that says “I’ll pay it back later.” Sooner or later your kid is 18 and going to college. What do you have?

So now the feds have yet another source of pay-behind revenue.

On average 400 per month.
HAR, I doubt it, but with the funny money bottom line looming they may run to the trees like the squirrels they are and make easy targets once we get our Justice Dept. back.
Congress does not possess the power to make us spend, they leave that to The Company Store while they count on our Tax dollars we no longer by a long shot contribute so they are the fearful not we.

I propose the “We are tired of being Used Manual ” be applied to the repealing of wealthcare legislation as in the customer is always right, 300,000,000 of us.
The day dawns ever in this irrevocable darkness lest we stand up and refuse to buy a worn, out of touch, shabby product for our labors.

Cancel all premium payments now ! Individual as well as employer donations to this dinosaur lair of keystroke godzillionaires should dry up like the Gobi desert before the true will of a united front.

I liken this fiasco to Godzilla vs Mothra with we, the frightened fleeing Asians too stupid with avarice to sacrifice and meld to the tip of the spear.

Yes I do. The Politicians Manual. In the near future, the big spenders in Washington will issue IOUs, as they begin to “permanently borrow” funds from this vast new pool of accumulated health care tax funds. These hi-rolling politicians will quietly bleed the “catastrophic pool”, forcing honest working people to pay ever more taxes into it. Unused balances will be quietly slipped into general expense accounts and made available for the thieves and hi-rollers in Washington DC to spend — but not on your health care needs. The same thing they pulled off with your Social Security TRUST fund.

Hmm, didn’t mention they will start taxing us this year. My family is looking to have to pay 10%. What if we can’t make it the 4 years to get the subsidy? Will the government rescind my bankruptcy if they are the cause of it? They basically just guaranteed I will spend $8,000 less every year.
