Leave The President out of it for now .

Our battle is with Congress, fore they inevitably are U.S. as they incredibly continue to refuse to recycle the one document that gives them any and all credibility.

What fools lay,
nae lie,
in lairs of inequitiy,
as Barons and overseers,
Lords of demise, as the machine needs ever more grease.

Seven years....................................?

The problem, Janice, is that the only politics being waged vis-a-vis health insurance reform have been among the Dems. Only through sheer skullduggery have they been able to buy, barter, and bamboozle enough votes to pass their bill. It even took an easily-rescinded executive order by the big O himself to squeak it through at the last minute.

Only when the smoke clears and the actual costs of this reform legislation become clear even to you, will we all look back and see that we've been had. Until then, those who already understand that Liberty has cast off from our shores are the only rational pundits standing.

Never before in our history have 90% of our populace been held hostage in the name of the other 10%; never before has the governmental apparatus even thought it could spit so disdainfully in the eye of our citizenry.

All you collectivists shout in glee at the thought of the expanded "benefits" the govt is going to give you; everyone else understands that those bennies can only be provided by stealing from the productive among us.

These are sad days for the US of A.

"A year of bitter haggling and legislative maneuvering may feed into the argument — successfully stoked by Republicans — that Democrats have failed to fix Washington."
Ha! The Republicans are the reason that Washington is not fixed. They are obstructionists, not politicians.
