Hell freezes over! Obama courts Fox News

(Reuters)

President Barack Obama is so desperate to sell his flawed health care plan to anyone who will buy into its illusion that he is willing to taking his pitch directly to viewers of right-wing propaganda outlet Fox News.

The White House Tuesday announced Obama will submit to an interview with Bret Baier of Fox his Wednesday show. The decision is a reversal for Obama, who normally avoids right-wing media outlets like fox but the move signals his last minute desperate drive for a health care bill passage before he leaves for Australia and Indonesia on Sunday.

The President, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs “wants to speak to as many people as possible about the potential benefits of his top domestic priority.”

In the past, the White House portrayed Fox as a propaganda arm of the Republican Party.

All rise as the exalted takes his rightful place amongst his fellow duck, dive, dodge, reverse logic, neocon cohorts.

    Took his place… but how?
Can anyone who has watched this simpleton really believe he wasn’t used, manipulated, promised his 15 minutes in the health-care limelight, and then took his place the same way Howdy Doody did?

Why, in a decade or so they will be calling him Mortimer Snerd, for crying out loud!
