The chief security officer for MySpace, Hemanshu Nigam, said "MySpace doesn’t want to be the company that stands in the way of an investigation."

“That said, we also want to make sure that our users’ privacy is protected and any data that’s disclosed is done under proper legal process,” Nigam said. ...extract from post

*****

I'd say Nigam is talking out of both sides of his mouth.

It would be nice to hear that agency investigators were nailing Federal, state and local crooks and scamsters with such efficiency...no?

Yep, this is a classic case of our "new age" out of control, well-funded government working ever so efficiently to both capture and enslave John & Mary Q. Citizen 24/7/365.
Just wait until Google links up with the NSA; which is in the works I might add, unless they've done so already?! / : |

Anybody surprised? Welcome to little China (Russia - Cuba - Venezuela). Our government isn't too shameful or fearful about intruding on our privacy. Why should they be? Who's gonna stop them?
