Hi Klaus,

My thoughts on both the Tea Party and the now emergent Coffee Club movement is that they are both self-serving rabid partisans that don't seem to realize they are witnessing the final "daze" of their once great American Republic, now devolved into an aborted attempt at American Empire.

Their games, and noisome partisan squeaks will count for little as the T-Bond market collapses, Social Security goes defunct along with every other boondoggle program and agency of the U.S. government does so too having gone rogue on its citizens.

There is to be no redemption. A lazy, asleep at the wheel of life populace has allowed a gang of evil crimpols slowly but to surely commandeer their nation and are soon to pay the supreme price.

"We the People" have allowed the the sowing of evil winds and we shall all reap the same whirlwinds for our complacency in the face of our now degenerate, self-serving leadership. : |

Hey Carl, there is a D-Crapper created group called the 'The Coffee Party' that is trying to counter the 'Tea Baggers'. They are carrying on about trying to give the D-Crappers a spine. I think its pure folly by the Democratic party who is behind it and trying to neutralize anyone criticsizing Obama's PNAC pandering and his bank bailout critics & other scams.

I was curious to see what your take is on it. The Coffee Club people on this page are taking a pummeling from 80% of the posters. Anyhow, I put the link below and pasted the introdution the Coffee Club feature.

A burgeoning netroots movement has emerged from what its founder characterized as "ranting on my Facebook page."

Several weeks ago, filmmaker Annabel Park posted a note on her Facebook profile expressing "frustration ... listening to news coverage that made it seem like the Tea Party was representative of America."

That grew into the liberal Coffee Party movement, a play off the conservative Tea Party movement. The Coffee Party consists of people who believe that government can play an active role in resolving the country's major issues.

PS: Doug, maybe you could do an expose on the D-Crapper Coffee Club

If this President was sincere about his negative sentiments towards the "pork" then he needs to instruct them he'll veto any bill coming to his desk that hasn't been stripped of such. That would get their attention in short order causing party apparatchiks heads to spin. He'd also get the respect of the voters that he's not all talk as he's been to date.

But nowadays you never witness the CEO of the U.S. giving any definitive executive guidance through the use of his veto pen. It's all simply hot air and he'll sign any bill in a NY second simply for political expediency; overblown, unfunded costs be damned. He's conducting his presidency as if he's "cubby" eagerly awaiting his marching orders from Nancy, Harry, Steny, Rahm et al.
