It's too early to tell for one simple reason. We, as the predictors prognosticated early on "80's" are to be a service society. Burger flippers for the touristy.

Too much money is to be made from foreign labor averse to paying a living wage to Americans who would prefer to manufacture, and pay, for well made American products because they have the means. That means Jobs!

Might I add these well made American products at one time outlasted many hand me downs. Kick me in the ass if I'm dreaming.

Beware, they seek the means and have it nearly within their grasp to strip all our artisan lore from our barely lingering innovative pride.

What better excuse for outsourcing than, we forgot how to do that.

Which will proof beyond imagination in their bottle of "cheapness" and continue to throttle our youth with the drunken idea of servitude over work.
They, our future grave diggers won't be worth an ounce of Ripple or a busted shovel handle..Fine wine indeed..Arrgh.

Tax break?

You mean the $400 that is now taxable?

I forgot about that one, especially after another 63% increase in state property
tax. Another great advantage of politicians promising federal tax cuts.

I guess it's give and take and take and take.

Now, here comes the inflation on top of all of the rest. I've been saying here for some time that the natural result of continuous economic stimulus and large deficits for an extended length of time is INFLATION. The labor department now reports producer prices up 1.4% in January alone. That's a compound annual rate of over 18%. Can you spell s-t-a-g-f-l-a-t-i-o-n? If you were an adult through the Carter years you can.
