In fact, our politicians can rightly be defined as terrorists - the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes; the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization; a terroristic method of governing or resisting a government. Examples: Pass the bailout or the economy will collapse. Pass the stimulus or the economy will collapse. Pass the Patriot Act or the terrorists will get ya. In the context of Al-Qaida, terrorism is a defensive tactic, not an offensive tactic. The only tactic available when faced with overwhlming firepower and force. It is in response to our own terrorism unleashed on the rest of the world. Politics and terrorism go hand-in-hand these days.
