Lets see, the article says ” this is unacceptable”……well surprise, surprise and shut my mouth. What the hell is (ACCEPTABLE) these days. If I found something “acceptable” (today or tomorrow or even the next day) in this F##K-UP world I would probably trip over it or die of shock. Why say anymore.

We are so SCREWED if we get hit again at home. The Reserves and National Guard have been stripped to the bone as far as equipment also manpower is a serious issue in the Army-Guard/Reserve as well!!!!!!!

Don’t worry folks; there’ll be tens of thousands of Blackwater USA mercenaries to take their place, at a much higher cost.

Of course cost doesn’t mean anything to neocons, unless it’s someone OUTSIDE of their circle making the profits.

With Blackwater USA, you might get a whole range of Hessians, including some criminals from South Africa, and if we’re “lucky”, some illegal aliens.

Since our regular troops and National Guard will all be fighting foreign wars, and the Posse Comitatus Act is now extinct, they should have a “heyday” of abusing and shooting civilians, without repercussions, and since they’re own families are probably not affected, no feeling of national unity when dragging civilians off to the detention camps.

FLASH! The ONLY reason that the Guard [en masse] is [supposedly] underfunded is because they [collectively] have deliberately been kept that way by this administration for over 6 years. Reason? The Guard will not be needed, nor wanted, by the administration whenever Martial Law comes to be enacted.

The Guard [en masse] represents a too-friendly force that could not be relied upon to enforce all that Martial Law will come to entail – search and seizure of homes, personal property and even civilians.

Secondly, as I have come to understand it, there is already an appreciable (and foreboding) presence of ‘foreign forces’ that are already staged on our soil and those forces will be activated under the guise of being part of a “UN assistance” front.

The Guard’s members are all AMERICAN men and women and the administration/the-real-power-brokers know that those fine young people will not be reliable ‘in the patroling of cities and towns across the nation.’

Don’t expect Bush or any Congressman or Senator to start talking about finding funding to bring the Guard up to specs. In fact, it will be the very absence of such calls for funding and upgrades that will confirm what I’ve said herein.

We are about to enter a terrible time. May God Almighty have mercy on us all!

Having our guard units deployed in foriegn combat for years now, is terribly wrong. These men and women have or had lives as civilians and part time military duty. I would say it will probably destroy 20% of the marriages if not more and will for sure affect family unity. Those who signed up for regular duty knew what they were going to be doing, maybe for not as long as they have been at it, but the guards never dreamed of being activated to a war zone for months or years on end. Poor souls. I can’t imagine how bad they feel everyday as thier home life fades away and others take thier place in society. Totaly unfair and unneccessary. What a disgusting situation for all. And no end in sight.
