Palin leaves fans hanging in Indiana

By
November 22, 2009

Sarah Palin left fans hanging in Noblesville, Indiana, when she aborted her book signing appearance there and bolted back to her bus.

Disgruntled fans who had stood in line chanted “sign our book” and yelled “Sarah quits again” as the diva of failed politics retreated to her bus and ignored her fans.

Palen later posted on her Facebook page that she was told some fans were left wanting and promised to make things right.

Ms Palin’s book ought to be titled: Going Rouge: An American Bore

The Queen of Babble-On should have dangled baby Trig in front of her fans, hypnotizing them into a quiet lull before slipping away early to her next book-signing gig.

Why were they yelling at her? Her purpose was to sign books, make eye contact with the buyer and get votes.

Sarah Palin just demonstrated that she is the heir apparent to the philosophical head of the GOP: Marie Anntoinette- Let them eat cake.

I really don’t know what’s worse – that she dodged her adoring fans or the fact that there are so many adoring fans.

And she has her own bus?

It seems that she doesn’t really care about their votes. She only wants their money. Maybe all her “fans” should just return the book, get a refund, go home, and take a cold shower. This love affair is over. You’ve been dumped.

Come now, I don’t know if she was sick or just overwhelmed.

Let’s stop tearing each other apart,

    We should follow Huchabee’s example,

I have a good history of selling books and inviting the authors to sign them. My first book-signing party, the author made a party out of the event. Cheese, crackers and wine! We sold out the books and the village of Cambria is still finding wine glasses up and down Main Street. We did a book signing party for the author of “Humpfrey the Humpback Whale” and all the children of the village were invited to buy the book and enjoy icecream and cake. I had my baby grand piano in the store and music was an everyday affair.

Possibly Madam Palin is a bit too big for her britches. Has she demanded more than she can give?
