Urban prairies of Detroit

There is no longer any doubt. The United States is in the final throes of it’s de-industrialization. No where is this more evident than in the US’s once premier industrial city of Detroit, Michigan.

Those that follow my blog and my comments know I’ve been worried about Detroit for some time. I lived there from 1986 until 1988 and it was a slum back then. It’s only gotten worse with the government take over of GM and Chrysler. Thank you prisonplanet.com for this video.

Due to Federal Reserve manipulation causing the housing bubble collapse and corresponding credit market collapse, and the unfair trade and labor practices of the last 4 decades, Detroit has become a burned out shell of it’s former self. Neighborhoods where houses nearly touched one another now have maybe one or two units left standing. The others have all been bulldozed to make way for something else. What that something else might be, no one knows. For now they are referred to as “urban prairies” as nature is busy reclaiming what man once dominated.

Businesses are boarded up. Factories are shuttered. The only other mass movement of people out of a city to compare it to is New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. But New Orleans was victim of a (mostly) natural disaster, while Detroit has fallen victim to an engineered crisis perpetrated by international bankers and multi-national corporations in an effort to destroy the sovereignty of the United States.

Dr. Richard Day, the National Medical Director of the Rockefeller-sponsored Planned Parenthood, told a meeting in March 1969 that American industry will be sabotaged and shown to be uncompetitive:

“The stated plan was that different parts of the world would be assigned different roles of industry and commerce in a unified global system. The continued preeminence of the United States and the relative independence and self-sufficiency of the United States would have to be changed… in order to create a new structure, you first have to tear down the old, and American industry was one example of that.”

“Each part of the world will have a specialty and thus become inter-dependent, he said. The US will remain a center for agriculture, high tech, communications, and education but heavy industry would be “transported out.”

We now can see the fruits of their labors as the United States manufacturing base has been boxed up and shipped to other countries and continues apace even during what is shaping up to be our worst employment crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930’s.

We can’t compete with wages and currencies so low compared to our own. We are told to retrain in technology or bio-engineering but they import low wage earners from overseas via H1-B VISA’s or ship those jobs off to India in an effort to artificially depress the wages in those professions and keep American’s unemployed and under employed. They claim there aren’t enough skilled workers to fill those positions while 30 million Americans are out of work. Preposterous!

One in nine Americans accepts food stamps. Add to that the 30 million out of work, those on Social Security/Disability, Medicare/Medicaid, and we quickly find out roughly 33% of Americans are living off of the other 66%. This is not sustainable in any country.

All the States are equally as broke. I just read California will be taking an extra 10% out of their citizens paychecks to pay for their still growing deficit. They claim it’s not a tax, as they will supposedly hand that back come April, but it’s a forced zero interest loan at best. If they give back IOU’s, it’s outright theft.

Add up the current debt, and it is estimated that taxes will have to be raised to 95.2% for those making over $350,000 per year to pay it down. No one in their right mind would pay that. It would be cheaper to quit working and try living on less. Essentially, it is now impossible to pay down our current level of debt.

That only leaves the printing presses of The Federal Reserve to “quantitatively ease” or in other words, print our way out of debt. This will in turn cause hyper-inflation that will destroy the value of the Dollar. That will sap our purchasing power, and since most all products are now imported, we will not be able to afford to live like we have in the past. We will be left destitute without means of employment or opportunity.

This is evident in the price per barrel of oil. Oil isn’t worth much more than it was 30 years ago. It’s the value of the Dollar that is worth so much less. The Dollar is only worth maybe 5% of what it was worth in 1913. Significantly, The Federal Reserve has destroyed 95% of Dollar’s value in under 100 years due to their inflationary practices, and they continue to do so.

We won’t be left alone to wallow in our misery. Already the camps are being prepared. The Department of Homeland Security was created for us, not terrorists. DHS statutes and actions have all been to restrict, detain, and harass the good law abiding citizens of the United States. Continuity of Government plans are in action and with Obama declaring a national emergency due to the H1N1 non-outbreak, those plans are now law and our Constitution is no longer the law of the land.

Now is the time to prepare while our money is still worth something. To wait much longer will mean further hardship for you and your family down the road. Detroit is the model of what is to come to your neighborhood. It is the end of the beginning of the end of the great experiment we know as the United States. Confused yet?

Just wait…
