Thanks to the efforts of Campaign for Liberty and the rest of the grassroots organizations for mobilizing in support of this bill. The only reason for such widespread bipartisan support of this bill.

Not only do we need to get the rest of the House and Senate to support this bill, but insist that it passes without compromise or any form of watering down.

Unlike other monstrous bills under consideration, HR 1207 and its identical Senate bill, S 604, are written in simple, straightforward language consisting of two sections. No complex legalese or vague language - a one-page bill.

Thanks Griff for posting the "Campaign for Liberty" link. I thought I'd also post a link to the RonPaul.com site which has a list of Congressional supporters as of August 2, 2009.

http://www.ronpaul.com/on-the-issues/audit-the-federal-reserve-hr-1207/

This will provide readers an instant check to see if their rep has climbed onboard to co-sponsor the measure. Even if they show their support on this list, I suggest giving their offices a call and add your comments to the list of supporters, letting them know in no uncertain terms as to what is expected.

The Senate is soft on sponsorship showing about 23 to date. So obviously some pressure has to be put on this body of spineless slackers.

Thanks for the link Carl, it's as easy as 123 so I hope all who visit or comment here will make the less than Five minute effort and sign the petitions.
I may have the opportunity for face time with Sen Carper in the near future and will surely, given the opportunity, address his non participation on S604. It may cost me my job but as it goes now that's minor compared to the dire straits our nation is facing....ALLONS..
