Olbermann rips ‘legislators for sale’

MSNBC’s Keith Obermann Monday night ripped into members of Congress who sold their votes for large donations from health care lobbyists.

And there are Democrats on that list.

    IMO, he needs to dedicate an entire show to doing what he did, without the melodrama. Just the facts. Maybe get some of those “exposed” to come on air to “refute?”
    Yeah, right.

    In fact, this is something he needs to do on a regular basis since the FCM seems to have forgotten what their real job was supposed to be.

    But, that’s just this old curmudgeon’s opinion…

    I showed this to someone well connected in the GOP and her reaction was that Keith needed prozac or electro-shock or a long forced rest. I found that reaction interesting. She said he was crazy. But she could not refute or deny one word of what he said. That in and of itself told me he was, if you’ll pardon the expression, right on the money.

    As they say around the Texas Legislature, if you
    can’t drink their whiskey, screw their women, take their money, and vote against ’em anyway, you don’t belong in office.-Molly Ivins

    Since this article doesn’t seem to have a simple, quick link posted to the Olbermann piece, I thought I would do so.

    The reason I like Keith is that he speaks with fire in his spirit a style in which I try to emulate too; ie., nail it down and nail’em dead to rights concerning an indictment against criminal behavior, injustice and tyranny in high places…!

    Carl Nemo **==

    I try to watch The Keith Olbermann Show each night. Frankly, it is about the only “news” that speaks the truth and as Carl Nemo stated, “Keith ….speaks with fire in his spirit”.

    It would be interesting to see who donated to the democrats, Pelosi, et al. Olbermann is under the mistaken impression that only his enemies are on the take.
    Do your homework Olbermann. You are supposed to be a notch above Fox News. I see you are just carrying water for the Obama administration, just as Fox did for Bush.
