I could care less about which politician is screwing which prostitute or South American babe.

I do care about how the self-righteous jerks screw the American public. They do it frequently and aren't at all shy about doing it over and over again.

They do it because they can...and all they have to do is publicly repent and all is forgiven and forgotten.

That's the American way...sadly to say.

What a laundry list we could create just over the last few years with pols that have taken a walk on the wild side. Seems to be some real political balance to it. I'm not even getting into the drug addled pill poppers.

If Spitzer wants a dolly or Stanford then nail them on using government resources as I'm sure the bride will have her own say on their activities.

Wonder if Nancy Pelosi has a boy toy?

It’s never about Walking-the-Walk, it’s only about Talking-the-Talk.

The first act of theism is to suspend rationality. From that point on, cognitive dissonance is a way of life. Once to committed to an irrational belief, the only thing that keeps it going is continual reinforcement.

I have close personal contact with this camp and I like most of them and love some, so I say this without malice: Hypocrisy is their primary trait. It can take many forms from mild self deceptions, to rationalizations for truly despicable acts.

“The difference between a moral man and a man of honor is that the latter regrets a discreditable act, even when it has worked and he has not been caught.” - H. L. Mencken

So, in other words, check your brains along with your hat at the door? What a lot of horse puckey that is! But that is Fundamentalism, hypocritical to the core.

I know what I'm talking about, for three of my five boys have grown up to become (Oh, the shame of it all! And to think that we tried to teach them to think for themselves!) Fundamentalist Evangelicals.

I hate to visit them, even though they live in Florida, and at 66 I have come to hate New York winters, particurily this far north of Albany.
