They'll attack us, a big one, 9/11 style and will have all the 'intelligence' magically available to 'prove' that Iran did it, yadda yadda, Obama's hands will be tied and the neojudeocons will have their war with Iran after all. I wasn't happy until I came upon an explanation which would justify all the vitriol being wasted on a political nonentity. 'Poisoning the Well' garbage actually kept me from checking the YouTube video on A.'s comments re: the Holocaust for years even though I had noted Spiegel's representations calling 'bullshit' on translations of his speeches. Except his comment is that the Holocaust is being used as cover for another : Palestinians murdered in an ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing. Hmmm. Israel. Those who must not be criticized. Afraid I was and am a bit spread out on these stories between TPM Cafe, and Opit's LinkFest! at both Opera and Blogspot. Nice retrospective. There can be two futures. Americans get so turned off like the Russians that the US Empire collapses like the Soviet Union did. This with or without massive deaths in between that didn't happen in the USSR pre-collapse. Or perhaps Obama will actually bring things under control, and the US will slowly fade the way England is.
