Maybe Pelosi SHOULD pack-up and go home for good!

The word is that rather than approve proposed legislation for oil drilling, Pelosi threatened to "pack-up and go home".

It's not the first time the House Speaker diverts the need to resolve issues only to place them on hold.

The last major issue --- whether or not you agree with it --- was the infamous determination to impeach Bush and other members of the administration. Just prior to assuming the position of House Speaker, Pelosi performed a 180-degree turn and took impeachment off the Democrats' "table".

If she does NOT want the legislation then at least provide an alternative resolution.

The last thing Americans need is another elected official who does NOT seem to do her job in the best interests of our national community.

Pelosi needs to stop doing her congressional "break-dancing" and start dealing with some of our major issues, starting with our self-induced energy crisis.

If I were a Democrat, I'd be

If I were a Democrat, I'd be helping her pack. In fact, all of us - Rep, Dem, Ind - should be making sure that all 435 in the House and all 100* in the Senate are packed and ready to go on 5 November 2008.

Most sincerely,

T. J. Flapsaddle

*PS - Oops! My bad! I just remembered that we can only get rid of one-third of the Senate each election cycle - but 33/34 isn't a bad start, is it? - TJF

Goddamit woman, when will

Goddamit woman, when will you realize that you and Harry Reid are the two single largest obstacles to getting anything DONE?

Too many Republicans, like

Too many Republicans, like Pelosi, are registered Democrats. I'm serious about this. I'm convinced this is happening, along with bribery and blackmail by Bush, Cheney and Mossad.

Maybe democrats need to re-register and run as republicans. 99% of the voters (about 40% of those ELIGIBLE to vote) vote Democrat or Republican for no other reason than they are registered as such. 99% of the voters have NO IDEA of the true issues, but get caught up in wedge issues likes the gun and the fetus.

I am a Democrat had a stroke

I am a Democrat had a stroke and I would gladly help her pack her bags and Reed when can we start? They are the two of the most do nothing I have ever seen. Let's just get her make-up and she will follow she wears so much she couldn't live without it lord knows that is the most important to her. I swear they are a disgrace and we should get them out of there.

Not fair I saw this and was so excited she was going. :(
