Since this is all over the news, we might as well talk about it as well. In US election, every (written) word counts
Personally, I think these are very accurate descriptions which is precisely why I support Senator Obama. I love the fact that even his handwriting confirms he has a VOLATILE TEMPER! Not the kind of man, I want in control of Nuclear Weapons, myself, personally.

I don't put much stock in
Submitted by griff on May 21, 2008 - 10:12pm.I don't put much stock in handwriting analysis, considering both analysts don't even agree on what they represent. Furthermore, we have already had enough exposure to the Three Stooges that anyone could come up with those traits on their own. Not really an in-depth psychological analysis, but merely new age psychobabble.
"He doesn't want you to know him too well," - hmmm - hiding something?
"He's the type of guy who could tell you to go to hell and you'd enjoy the trip." - hmmm - you mentioned something about nuclear weapons?
"The very large B shows he also has a very strong sense of his own ego," - hmmm - the same thing they said of McCain. Egomaniac with a messiah complex? I think so.
Yes and some people don't
Submitted by pollchecker on May 22, 2008 - 1:06pm.Yes and some people don't put much stock in Science either. Some people don't believe in Global Warming, etc. I don't believe I need to continue. Just because someone doesn't believe in or put any stock in something, doesn't mean that it isn't true. Apparently handwriting analysis has some merit because it can be used in some courts of law as relevant evidence.
I didn't say it wasn't
Submitted by griff on May 22, 2008 - 5:36pm.I didn't say it wasn't accurate, only that it's pretty easy to make these claims when so much is already known of these candidates and their personalities. The analyses were pretty general and brief, and didn't really offer any more insight into their personalities than what we already know. An interesting curiosity at best, and certainly no basis for choosing a President, especially when McCain and Obama share some similar traits.
Science has it place and its merits, but it also isn't infallible, and I think we place too much emphasis and faith in it. Global warming is a perfect example. We are only allowed to see the science that supports the rhetoric, and all dissenting opinions are squashed. That isn't science, it's cherry-picking science to support a propaganda campaign. But that'll be a debate for another day, if you're up for it. A very important issue that has serious implications this election, especially on the Democrat side of the coin.

People who don't believe in astrology say the same thing. Doesn't mean there isn't validity to their claims. I'm sure the visions of men like Da Vinci were quite unheard of in their time to average men.
